The estimate defines removal of the existing fixture or fan, assembly and installation of the new fan, electrical connections and operation checks. We assess whether the existing box and support are suitable for a ceiling fan. Additional support, wiring, controls or access equipment are discussed when needed.
What Affects the Quote?
Ceiling height, sloped ceilings, fan weight, downrod length, assembly, existing support and access all affect the work. Send photos of the existing fan or fixture and the new product. High ceilings may require a ladder or lift; access is confirmed before scheduling.
Can You Replace a Light With a Fan?
Often, but the mounting support and wiring must be evaluated. A box that supports a light is not automatically suitable for a fan. Separate wall control for the fan and light may require additional wiring or a compatible control system.
Do I Need to Buy the Fan First?
You can send the product link before purchasing so we can discuss installation requirements. For scheduling, the fan and required components should be available. Product defects and manufacturer warranties are separate from installation workmanship.
